My worthwhile investment in stickers

Don’t underestimate the power of stickers. This past Saturday I had a babysitting job for a small church group meeting. There were six kids total, between the ages of 3 and 6 years-old. I brought some pumpkin cutouts, twist crayons and Halloween stickers.

Decorating the pumpkin cutouts kept them busy for about ten minutes, but what really saved my life was having the stickers. I used those stickers to bribe them to behave all night and it worked. Whoever said it’s wrong to bribe kids to behave needs a pack of stickers. The whole pack of stickers cost me a whopping $1. The pack had 300 stickers. Worthwhile investment? I think so.
