When a sharing dispute is brewing, I recommend these:
1. Take a step back and let them work it out themselves. You can let them know that if they can’t work it out on their own, they will not be able to play with the toy at all.
2. If it becomes necessary for you to take control of the situation then set the timer or watch the clock and make them take turns.
